It’s easy to register for the event. You just have to follow some simple steps:
- Invite your parents to the Competition.
- Pre-register online.
- Print your confirmation and go to your ALOHA Centre.
- Remit the fee at your ALOHA Centre to confirm the registration.
- Encourage your ALOHA friends to join.
- Practice every day with zeal vigor and enthusiasm. Remember you will be competing with students from different countries.
- Get set and go and enjoy Spain!

Madrid: It is the capital and most populous city of Spain and the second largest city in the European Union. It is widely recognized for landmarks such as the Royal Palace of Madrid, the Almudena Cathedral, the beautiful Plaza de Cibeles, the famous Puerta de Alcalá and the Bernabéu Stadium the home of Real Madrid.
The Royal Palace of Madrid: Constructed in the 18th century, it is a stunning architectural masterpiece and a symbol of Spain’s rich history and cultural heritage. It serves as the official residence of the Spanish royal family. Almudena Cathedral: Situated in the heart of Madrid, this masterpiece of architecture includes a Neoclassical, Gothic and Baroque style. Madrid is a paradise of diverse and delicious food of all kinds. You will be able to taste the delicious expressions of traditional food like Paella, Tortilla Española, and delicious desserts like Churros with chocolate. Every dish in your journey will be exquisite, surprising and a treat to your appetite.
Iberian Ham: This cured ham made from Iberian pigs is a prized delicacy in Spain. With its rich flavor and melt-in-your-mouth texture, it’s often served thinly sliced as a tapa or alongside bread and cheese.
Paella: it is a flavorful rice dish typically cooked with saffron, seafood (such as shrimp, clams, and mussels), chicken, rabbit, and vegetables. There are also variations like seafood paella and mixed paella with chicken.
Patatas Bravas: A quintessential tapas dish, it consists of crispy fried potatoes served in bite-sized cubes, generously drizzled with a flavorful and spicy tomato-based sauced called the ‘brava’. This iconic dish can be savored as a tapa or a side dish.
Tortilla Española: Also known as Spanish omelette, this classic dish consists of eggs, potatoes, and onions cooked in olive oil. It’s an essential of Spanish cuisine and can be enjoyed as a tapa, sandwich filling, or main course.
