The prestigious event, held at the Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre, brought together nearly 700 students from 15 countries and regions (Bangladesh, Cambodia, Canada, China, Croatia, Ecuador, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Panama, Philippines, Taiwan, Uzbekistan, and Venezuela), all eager to demonstrate their exceptional mental prowess and abacus computational skills. Following the tremendous success of the 2022 competition in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico, this year’s competition marked a special milestone – its 30th Anniversary, promising an even more exhilarating celebration.
The competition kicked off at 11 am with a remarkable display of unity. Founder Mr. Loh Mun Sung and International Director Kiran Motwani hoisted the ALOHA international flag, joined by ALOHA Malaysia’s Ms. Hooi and Ms. Yean, extending a warm welcome to participants from around the world.
