ALOHA
ALOHA PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
By adopting and developing the SOROBAN abacus method, Mr. Loh Mun Sung founded ALOHA Mental Arithmetic in 1993, aiming to introduce arithmetic programs and benefit Malaysian children aged 3 to 13.
With over 20 years of experience, ALOHA has expanded to approximately 4,000 centers worldwide, proving the effectiveness of its program and thus making ALOHA the leading development program for learning mental arithmetic in childhood and adolescence.
ALOHA Mental Arithmetic uses the SOROBAN abacus as the element in teaching the “basic concept” of mental calculation. Teaching children with this method improves their mental calculation skills, with a scientifically proven impact on many other competencies.
Advised by a panel of experts in various areas of mathematics, ALOHA has a qualified academic board of renowned professors and lecturers, prepared to provide a high-quality and engaging education.
The ALOHA Mental Arithmetic Program has two essential objectives.
- To present a Mental Arithmetic program, aimed at cognitive development, based on human capabilities, taking into account the evolution recorded in the field of education.
- To provide a recognized quality service to the community, contributing to the development of children, the future citizens, while maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards.
